Pollen Madness Privacy Policy
Effective 5 September 2026
Pollen Madness is published by Gareth T Digital, an independent developer based in the United Kingdom. The game works without a player account or social login. It never shows forced adverts. A player may choose to watch an optional rewarded advert for one continue during a level attempt.
Data stored on your device
The app stores game progress, saved gardens, best completion times, Nectar, power-up balances, owned cosmetics, tutorials and preferences on your device. This data is used only to provide the game, resume progress and remember your choices.
You can erase this local data with Reset All Data in Settings. Removing the app may also remove local game data. Bee Quick is a restorable store entitlement. Nectar packs are consumable: credited Nectar and cosmetics bought with it are part of local game progress and cannot be restored after that data is erased.
Optional gameplay statistics
With your permission, Gareth T Digital collects gameplay statistics to improve puzzle balance and reliability: gardens and revisions played, attempts, completion and jam outcomes, active playing time, tutorial steps, rescues, power-ups, virtual resource changes, purchase and advert outcomes, and basic app version and platform information. A random installation credential links these events; the server stores its hash. This is pseudonymous information, not a verified identity or a count of individual people. We do not include names, emails, advertising IDs, payment details, precise location, error messages or screenshots in these statistics.
Sharing is off until you choose Allow statistics. You can change this in Settings, separately from advert choices. Events wait on the device while offline (up to 300 events for seven days), then are sent securely to Cloudflare Workers and D1, our hosting and database provider. Cloudflare necessarily processes network information such as IP addresses to deliver and secure requests; our analytics database does not store IP addresses. Cloudflare may process service data internationally under its data protection arrangements.
Active analytics records are scheduled for removal after 90 days, with cleanup running hourly. Delete gameplay statistics in Settings turns sharing off and removes the records linked to this installation without deleting game progress. When offline, the deletion request is retained until it can reach the service. Reset All Data also requests statistics deletion. Delete statistics before uninstalling: uninstalling alone cannot send this request. A hashed deletion marker is retained for 120 days to reject late uploads. Cloudflare disaster-recovery backups may retain deleted records for up to a further 30 days and are not used for reporting. Your consent is the basis for optional gameplay collection; withdrawing it stops future collection, while the separate deletion control removes existing records.
Purchases
Apple App Store or Google Play processes payments. Pollen Madness does not receive or store payment card details.
RevenueCat is used to validate and restore purchases. It may process an anonymous app user identifier, purchase history, store information and basic device or app information needed to provide purchase functionality and related purchase analytics. Automatic advertising-identifier collection and RevenueCat diagnostics are disabled in the app.
This information is used for app functionality, fraud prevention, purchase restoration and purchase-related analytics. It is not used for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking. Read RevenueCat's privacy policy.
Optional rewarded adverts
Google AdMob is used only when a player explicitly chooses the rewarded continue option. The app does not use banner, interstitial or app-open adverts. It requests non-personalised adverts and checks Google's consent status before an advert can load.
Google may process information needed to provide, secure and measure the advert, such as IP address, device or advertising identifiers, app interactions, diagnostics and the reward event. Availability and consent choices can vary by region. Declining or closing an advert spends no Nectar and never blocks normal play. Read Google's privacy policy.
Data sharing
Pollen Madness does not sell personal data. Purchase information is handled by Apple or Google and by RevenueCat as a service provider. Optional advert data is handled by Google AdMob. Optional gameplay statistics are hosted by Cloudflare on behalf of Gareth T Digital. Information may also be disclosed where required by law.
Retention and deletion
Local game data remains until it is reset or the app is removed. Apple, Google, RevenueCat and AdMob retain service records according to their own legal and operational requirements.
To request help with purchase-related information, email support@garethtdigital.co.uk.
Children
Pollen Madness does not ask players for names, email addresses, precise location, contacts, photos or microphone recordings. Purchases are subject to the family and parental controls provided by the device's app store. AdMob consent and age-related controls will be configured before release and reviewed against the final store target-audience declaration.
Changes
This policy may be updated when the app's features or service providers change. The effective date above will be revised when material changes are made.
